At least 3,617 people are now known to have died in a massive earthquake which hit Nepal on Saturday. Dozens of people are also reported to have been killed in neighboring China and India. More than 6,500 people have been injured, according to the National Emergency Operation Centre.
Two insured members were evacuated by AP medical specialists from Nepal to their countries of residence.
“We are still waiting for the instructions from our partners, the insurance companies, for the next evacuations” – said Steve Rigger, regional medical director of AP Companies
